CoEd Varsity Cross Country
The Purdy cross country teams competed in the SWCL Conference Cross Country meet held at Blue Eye on Saturday, 10/20.
In the boys division, Spokane won the event with a team score of 42, followed by Crane (54), Blue Eye (57), Southwest (71), Galena (126), and Sparta (164).
Sam Shuman of Spokane won the event with a time of 17:21. For Purdy, Dawson Abramovitz - 11th (18:39), Zack Brewer - 12th (18:43), Adrien Tate - 26th (20:13) and Jake Brown - 39th (23:09)
In the girls division, Blue Eye won the event with 24 team points, followed by Southwest (58), Sparta (58), Crane (76).
Riley Arnold of Blue Eye won the event with a time of 19:43. For Purdy, McKenna Orwig finished 16th with at time of 25:10.
Purdy will compete in the district meet on Saturday, 10/27 at Lamar.
